Felipe Barrio Underwater Photography

He started diving on 1.982 and a year later he began to practice underwater photography. Today he is a PADI Master Instructor and professional wildlife photographer, working for many magazines as: Asian Diver (Singapore), BBC Wildlife (UK), Buceadores (Spain), Coral Reef (USA), Dive (UK), Diving a Fondo (Spain), Espacio Profundo (Mexico), Fathoms (USA), Fins (Thailand), Inmersion (Spain), Nature's Best (USA), Skin Diver (USA), Scuba Diving (USA), Sport Diving (Australia), Sport Diving (USA), Tauchen (Germany), The Undersea Journal - PADI (USA), Underwater Photography Magazine (UK) and Untherwasser (Germany). He has also been awarded with many international prizes as: 1st place Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2007 - Underwater World, Highly Honored Nature's Best Magazine 2007, 1st place MIMA'07 Online - Category ambient 2007, Highly Honored 45th Annual Los Angeles Underwater Photographic Society. Today he lives in Madrid (Spain) from where he directs Ultima Frontera, a travel agency specialized in diving, and also the photographic file of UF-Photo which relies on more than 175.000 images, taken in over 50 countries around the world.
