http://www.eco-divers.com/galleries/v/geoffspiby/ Geoff Spiby has been diving and photographing the underwater world since 1984, mostly around the southern tip of Africa. He started with a Nikonos IV and over the years has worked his way up to a Nikon F-100 in a Sea and Sea housing. His initial interest in marine creatures began while snorkelling on the reefs around Cape Town, South Africa as a child. Over the last 10 years he has spent many vacations visiting and photographing in the Red Sea, Maldives, Mozambique, Comoros, Malaysia, Indonesia and his own country South Africa. He has contributed to many books, magazine articles and travel brochures. He works as a fulltime veterinarian in Cape Town while he plans his next diving trip with his wife Lyn, also an enthusiastic diver. When not working or diving he enjoys hiking, surfing and playing underwater hockey.
